Monumental Alkaline/Ash Glazed

Attributed to Cleburne County, Alabama
13 inches (height), 8 inches (at widest point), weighs approximately 10 pounds. Appears to be free of chips, cracks or repairs – excellent condition.
Note the unusual thumb indentations on the handle and the overall shape of the handle. “…from an estate of an elderly lady whose grandmother had this piece….They lived in the area of Heflin Alabama in a town called Abel that no longer exists [Abel is in Cleburne County].”
