Watercolor on paper, 11 ½ x 14 inches (image), 19 ½ x 20 inches (frame).  Inside frame on verso:  American Water Color Society exhibition label with title and artist information.

A very interesting street scene with a war bonds poster, advertising signs, smokestacks, phone poles, lone figure, etc.

Edwin Oman, painter, designer, lecturer.  Oman lived and was very active in New York.  Many of his works were of urban scenes from the 1930’s and 1940’s.
